Heritage Dreams Ranch

Our Story

Our family started our “backyard” farm in 2017.  We lived in town with a nice size backyard that Chet turned into his farm project.  We began with a small flock of chickens for egg production.  A year after, my daughter decided to begin raising show rabbits for 4-H and ARBA shows.  Our farm continued to grow but we were still living in town and subject to the restraints of city regulation.

In 2025, we were blessed to purchase our first acreage.  This allowed us to continue the dream of growing our farm.  However, we did not simply want to grow but produce products that were healthy.  We began searching for ways to produce healthy and organic meat and products.  We also had the desire to be good stewards of the land that we had acquired.

In our research we discovered the concept of  “regenerative agriculture.”   We dug deeper, and began to understand the powerful relationship between soil, plants, animals, and ultimately human health.

For centuries, migrating herds played a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. As animals moved across the land, their hooves pressed organic matter into the soil, they grazed and stimulated plant growth, and their manure naturally fertilized the ground. This cycle strengthened the soil, nourished the plants, and provided the animals with the nutrition they needed to continue the journey.

By using “Multi Paddock Grazing” (AMP Grazing) we are restoring this natural cycle and  repairing the soil and vegetation that feeds our animals. This is what allows us to give our consumers healthier meat and products.
